THE FANS!!!!!
"Fans give computers a way to exhaust heat externally."
- Because the processor can reach nearly 100 degrees Celsius, cooling is an important part of computing, so two types of cooling methods have been seen as the norm, FANS, and HEAT SINKS
- A fan is a set of spinning metal blades that can suck hot air out of a machine and let cold air into the machine.
- Case fans, for example, are put on the inner case and perform this task.
"Heat sinks absorb heat and move it away from critical components."
- This does not always help the CPU, as the surface of it gets burning hot.
- Some people even managed to cook food on one!
- The HEATSINK is used as a larger piece of metal to displace the heat from the CPU, keeping it cold.
- The HEATSINK FAN attaches to the heatsink to keep it cooled even more.
Important parts like these keep the computer from overheating and dying a brutal death!
