• A fan is a set of spinning metal blades that can suck hot air out of a machine and let cold air into the machine.
• Case fans, for example, are put on the inner case and perform this task.

"Heat sinks absorb heat and move it away from critical components."

• This does not always help the CPU, as the surface of it gets burning hot.
• Some people even managed to cook food on one!
• The HEATSINK is used as a larger piece of metal to displace the heat from the CPU, keeping it cold.
• The HEATSINK FAN attaches to the heatsink to keep it cooled even more.

Important parts like these keep the computer from overheating and dying a brutal death!
